Bec didn't he run away after MC got exposed cuz he found out it was MC he was sleeping with? They were surrounded and Yayeon was forced to remove his veil at that time & ML didn't appear before MC for a long time.
And the flashback we got about ML again rejecting his first time with a guy, but the disgusting cousin tempted him with the view of the MC's back and then he was like "yes pls" + the time when he saw the pendant on MC and asked why the pendant was with him because ML gave it to Yayeon and he misunderstood that Yayeon gave it to MC.
I almost thought ML knew Yayeon was MC too, because of how he acted that time when MC got injured and had to pretend Yayeon was sick; but still pushed to meet Yayeon so MC had someone else pretend to be him. After ML found out MC was Yayeon, he said something like "no wonder something felt off (at that time), but I didn't want to question it because I liked Yayeon too much."
And then when MC rejected him, ML had flashbacks of something like the reason he wanted Yayeon was because he was in with MC since he was a child & Yayeon was helping him kind of move on from MC...
