This has a high rating so I had high hopes. I made it to chapter 25 and I don’t know if I will continue…I’m really did not see how MC in any way (other than looks maybe lol) liked the ML, all he’s focused on is work (and slight daddy issues). Scratch that HE LITERALLY FOUGHT HIM OFF WHILE GOING(?) into HEAT, like if that isn’t a clear FUCK NO then what is??? Like MC clearly did not want ML?!?!? I’m baffled honestly like tf???? The ML (whose life was kinda saved by the MC and was the cared for by the MC at his expense, in terms of time and financial!!) blackmailed the MC on multiple occasions, drugged him, had him followed (which I then suspect saved his life from fire but still so what that’s a debt repaid is all) and then made sure to prevent him from accessing further medication so ML could wait (prey on him) to go into heat (which I am counting as RAPE). I HAD HOPE (although ML was lost to me cos his actions are clear in what he wanted regardless of MCs sober opinion) WHEN MC FOUGHT HIM OFF!!!! So yeah guess I’m annoyed that cos I love MC character and was looking forward to his development in terms of work and maybe going against his father(?). BUT ML IS A CRIMINAL UGH, blackmailer and attempted(?) rapist (and possible murderer etc.). Like yeah MC is in heat and is like I need it, nah he was forced into a heat he HAD NOT EXPERIENCED BEFORE(!!!!!!!) and ML is like a predator (in a rapist sense) waiting and it seems his actions paid off much to my disappointment (I had hope cos 9.2 is good right?) and absolute disgust. Love MC HATE ML, like I agree with MC partner - they should just die or be killed. Sorry for rant I’m just sad at the lost potential of MC I guess? Enjoy reading my rant?? Discussions welcome?
