The same thought for me, considering the mc is cornered wherever he may go and the only dead end is death... then just go with it. At least you'll have peace and leave your cold body with the toxic bastard. But at the same time, I also think that it's not really an option for someone who wants to live but still want freedom. The mc is still young he could've done more in his life if only he wasn't destined to be with a jerk and all this rainwater and mountain bullshit.
Yk what, in a lot of these really toxic manhwas, the only acceptable and valid reason for the main characters to truly be free and achieve peace is to just kill themselves. No questions asked. Because it were me, I would do just that as fast as i can without hesitation. Running away and hiding wouldn't work anyway so why bother? Just die.
