I kinda wish that it would’ve showed em moving on or something to healthier relationships. I’ve only ever seen it done ONCE where a story starts off with the lead’s prior relationship and then it turned toxic/abusive and both of them left and started new ones where everything was so much healthier and refreshing. Idk but they never do. It’s like they can’t admit defeat in their failed garbage ass relationship.
