I think if the original pride’s mother was such an idiot, original pride wouldn’t have turned out so bad. Like obviously an abandoned child is going to lash out, and she didn’t have any role models as the queen hid away and the king was busy. Especially when she realizes that you had some secret child both parents spoiled hidden away, is she the villain or the victim. They even knew how she was treating the prince and never stopped it, like the queen knew he was going to be tortured and still gave him to pride.
