I hope people realize that what the ML is doing is financial abuse, not to mention all his other manipulations. He clearly doesn’t care about her personal agency. This is a toxic romance but I fear it may not be obvious to some readers that being wanted < being respected. Makes for a great story but not irl so please beware girlies!
