OKAY actually i felt rlly refreshed by how UNinsufferable their modern selves are. I find like a lot of traditional korean bls have a lot of angst that are taken too far along with misunderstanding tropes and more but i love how everyone developed so much in just a season????? Plus ha ons modern self is so funny, like hes such a chill guy (ik he made himself a sociopath) but even after getting his memories back hes still that sassy funny dude and i love their present day dynamic. Like wdym u js got back all ur memories of ur past lives and ur thinking abt having sex… modern day ha on is hungry ash for that cookie. Also I get where ppl are coming from when theyre upset that all the hurt hes gone through seems to blow over so simply once he remembered his past lives, but i think its not that it blew over!!! Its even worse if he clings onto it as something that continues to hurt him, he deserves to be happy with whr he is now. and the dragon has lived a long time without his scale, his world, and matured so much that i think hes constantly been living in his guilt n pain for so long, being extremely considerate of ha on today. So im so happy all this cld happen in just one season. this series has a good balance of fun, angst and overall mature and enjoyable characters. Its not frustrating like a lot of angst tends to overdo
