was scared to read as its like "historical" themed but this was worth the hours i could have slept. its 7 am and i didnt sleep. my eyes hurt... help.
anyway. it was truely beautiful. the hot art, the characters, the fantastical yet deeply romantic plot gradully spiraling into intense twists and even more intensive conclusions to wonderfully end the way it did. honestly i was thrilled. the bad actors were written so right to the point. i really hated that villian and he did what bad actors do the best irl. turn people against each other and bend everything in their favor. ugh.
the response to the twink missing was real. couldnt be realer then a... reality idk. i was questioning myself how would things go differently and howd they generally end up but everything ended nicely. the way to make you feel comfortable. (maybe too much comfortable?) whiiich isnt the best but not awful either. wellll nor the setting of the beginning was great either. like where you have seemingly straight gangster meet a historical japanese warlord? that later says he doesnt sleep with anyone so easy. and yet these characters fuck right away? well i guess chemistry is a thing but it did fast foward the story to get THERE. there being the good times being challenged by the bad actors. and with that im glad it was this short.
like i remember one webtoon that MASSIVELY prolonged IT (the good times challenged by villians bla bla bla) and it drained my will to read further. felt like suffering. and also read one (dropped midway) webtoon that did M A S S I V E L Y prolong the process to getting there but also threw in bazillion bad actors too. felt like reading while getting lobotomy.
so yeah liked it a lot. wish i could see maybe like 3 at max additional chapters where they are in modern times but its ok without it. filling the ending with imagination is better :)
