first of all, dying hurts. your brain is the last thing that is alive before you die, so you can still perceive the pain. and honestly, i don’t really want to imagine the pain i have to go through before i pass away.
but the next to other reason why i exist is not wanting to burden the people that were close to me. the kind souls that were here at my lowest. i wouldn’t be able to rest peacefully even in death if i knew people would cry for me.
so here i am, still living. still breathing. i may not know what i’m doing in life. i may be lost and still feel empty, but i am alive. if you don’t have anyone that would care about your death: still. stay alive. live. because as long as we’re alive, there’s still hope for a better day. there’s still things we can explore. after death, we don’t know what it will be. no one knows. but when you’re alive, you can change so many things.
whoever that is reading this, your existence has a meaning. don’t give up. even if no one is watching, keep going. at least do it for yourself. anyone in this world has potential of becoming someone they can be proud of themselves. take the first tiny steps, build momentum, and continue walking. before you know it, you already made a lot of progress. take care of yourself alright? xoxo from a stranger
