I agree that people throw around the words "rapist" and "pedophile" far too casually. I've seen people on here use them for almost anything, and it feels ridiculous. There are definitely tropes I'm uncomfortable with too, but I just don't read them, and I steer clear of interacting with people who enjoy them. No offense meant, though.
Agree, but fictional stories still can have an impact on you IF you're stupid enough to let it have an impact on you . In which case , i dont think the story should be blamed , but the person. Its all very subjective to me tbh , ive seen ppl romanticizing fictional tropes irl so i kind of get the criticism.

I'm tired of the virtue signalers on this site. I know this is gonna be a hot take for some of you, but if you don't like a story, you don't need to read it. Some of ya'll need to be reminded that fictional stories have no impact on real life because the characters and the suffering they go through are purely fictional. It can only effect you if you choose to allow it by continuing to interact with the work. No one if forcing you to read stories you don't like.
You also don't need to bash on the people who create or consume such works. Ya'll need to stop accusing people of being pedophiles and rapists. You can only be a criminal if you commit a crime irl. Creating and consuming purely fictional stories is not a crime, nor is it evidence that someone is a criminal either. It's not the same as porn with real people bc fictional characters aren't real ppl.
Technically, all of you on this site are criminals for consuming and sharing pirated content. I don't care what excuses you make for yourselves, I'm also an illegal reader so idgaf about why ya'll choose to read illegally, but stop acting like the stories you don't like are crimes against humanity.
