I agree, in my perspective they set the fl up as being broken in the same way which I guess made them soulmates :,). It feels like trauma bonding led them to not trust anyone else but each other. They also made it seem like no one else could understand her so she accepted him after realizing that.
I love me a crazy man but damn lol not mad I read it but this is def for the audience that doesnt think men are crazy enough lol
