Glad the author didn't excuse the coworker's behavior, even though he seems like a nice guy. What he did was wrong, and he truly is a coward for not apologizing. He has spent more time with Jungseo than Hyosin but he didn't have the courage to confess too.
This story also shows how you can write an imperfect character like Hyosin without making him a rapist and beyond redemption, and a nice MC like Jungseo without making him a doormat. Like another comment said, Hyosin is depressed. He's artistic, and pursuing an artistic career is difficult. Some of us can relate to that.
Ngl, I judged this manhwa too harshly at first because I thought it was just going to be another smutty slop. A) The MC letting someone he hadn't been in contact with for so long live with him is dangerous irl folks. B) They started getting physical so early, even though they'd only just reconnected after so many years.
But the author has really improved their writing.
Despite the coworker's behavior, I still hope the author pairs him with Hyosin's ex. The ex isn't tidy or organized, but he loved Hyosin and pursued him. Meanwhile, the coworker seems so organized and put-together, yet he's afraid to pursue the person he likes. They're opposites, and I think it would be interesting to see their dynamic.
