to speak about what’s within you is to surrender a piece of you, and, tbh, it’s difficult to be vulnerable with anyone, most especially with things that you’ve longed buried. i understand why soojung’s quite hesitant with telling sara about it, people cope differently. however, i don’t think sara means anything bad knowing the fact that she doesn’t have any ounce of idea about the extent of soojung’s trouble with her mom. i think soojung at the very least, needs to take a tiny bit of step to let sara in, to be vulnerable is to risk being known and it is indeed terrifying, but sara won’t probably turn away (pleaseee i hope she’s open enough to understand). i hope they’ll overcome and resolve this problem. i love them both sm t-t

anyway, i heavily empathize with soojung. our upbringing and traumas in life will always affect us in ways we may not notice. it’s not always gonna be easy to overcome, much more share it with people. but in order to build connection and emotional bond with others, one must accept their past and choose to progress in life without letting it define them, only then her and sara can bridge the gap between them two!
