Finally reading(or ig re-reading since I stopped and left this marinating) this now, and oml.... I HATEEE the way the mc is acting so fucking dumb and oblivious, and refusing to actually think if the ml was ever "mistreated". It's interesting that the mc used the word "mistreated".... Like mf was getting ABUSED. Idk, I just hate how a character that is smart when it comes to their "jobs", but the author somehow fumbles bad and can't make a decent plot that make sense. Just for the sake of plot that they want to do... It doesn't make it interesting, it makes it look dumb as hell. U mean to tell me that the mfking kid who used to try to jump multiple times... Is lying about their foster parents "mistreating" them??? What a way to repay the mom. So freaking stupid omlll
