After he just slammed his head on the desk, Richard takes a stroll in the garden. Happy that he is now keeping Kaellus away from Daphne. While he is outside, he gets ambushed, men are trying to assassinate Richard and he fights back. But there’s this mist in the air that weakens him, so he starts to falter. As Richard drops down and is starting to get hit, someone from the shadows comes and saves Richard before they kill him. The mysterious person fights them off, protecting Richard with all their might. The assassins realize who it is and retreat immediately. Richard can’t make out who it is but he soon losses consciousness. When he wakes up, he is in a room, unknown to him, until the prince waltz’s in. Richard looks at him with some disgust, but now that he was in his quarters. He had a duty to fulfill, which was to make Kaelus drink the love potion. So, he dresses up in a robe and “seduces” Kaelus into drinking the wine that has the potion in it. Kaelus who was tired of his bullshitting, drinks the potion and his personality turns a whole 360. Richard feeling successful, waits for the now drunk Kaelus to fall unconscious and sleep. Because the love potions effects were supposed to make Kaelus knock out, and make the person think they have slept with the person before them. However, instead of falling unconscious, Kaelus starts to kill Richard. Richard becomes shocked and bewildered by the situation and Kaelus keeps telling him how much he loves him. He then begins to undress Richard and tells him sweet nothings, meanwhile Richard is trying to fight him off. He knew something was wrong with the potion-
