The difference is I knew from the start that killing stalking was toxic, from the very first chapter. This story started out comedic and seems like the kind of story to have a happy ending, but for some reason turns into toxic slop.
I'm fine with toxic stuff, I read that too if its well written. But having a story start out as pretty non toxic only to turn into poorly written toxic trash is really dissapointing, and it's lazy writing.
It's rare that a genre pivot mid story is popular among its readers. Super sad that I will have to dropthis one.
