Why tf did they make such a big fn deal about Hikaru MIGHT be leaving the company? Like dude, okay, okay, he is your partner but thats work??? You won't hear him out and just be a lil whiny bitch about it??? It was going so well the author HAD TO make some conflict i guess.. Honestly, they just made it stupid and it feels like it's out of a romantic 2.8-rated movie. I am so fed up with these lame ass conflicts in good stories. I mean, what's going to happen, it is sooooooooo predictable.

Well yes it’s a simple plot but even the side characters are all aware it’s a small problem that they BOTH overcomplicated. The boss literally said “is this a romantic drama”. Bc yes it’s so simple and dramatic. They are new to relationships and extremely concerned about keeping the other person happy. It’s actually quite realistic once you consider they’ve been dating for almost 2 months only. You’re still learning to always communicate and working on building up confidence in knowing what your partner needs.

They’re even grappling with feeling clingyness towards the other, homophobia, and boundaries. One will feel sad abt him taking the other job(he’s not even aware of this pettiness), and the other wants to ask him to move in together. I mean these are all normal and meaningful milestones in a relationship. Also yes he’s being a whiny bitch but you completely missed the point. It’s actually out of character for him?? He’s never cared about having a partner so him feeling emotional abt the person he’s literally IN LOVE with going to a different company is meant to showhow much he has changed. The side characters literally said how refreshing it is to see him act like a regular human in this way.

The author didn’t “have to make conflict” their behaviors are obviously intentional and make sense with where they are in their relationship. I know what you mean by repetitive and lame but I still think you missed the point. How they showtheir love and move forward in their relationship is literally 90% of the manga.

It confuses me when ppl complain about realistic simplicity when it is so obvious this manga is simple and sweet. I mean literally what about the art, cover, panels, and storyline makes you think this manga is unpredictable, shocking or unique. It’s literally an office romance god forbid the biggest milestone is the a grocery store arc. This isn’t one piece. It’s supposed to be a good story with simple conflicts. If u want something with a more active plot and conflict you can literally go look for it. Ppl literally complain about things not being green flag or soft enough in other Yaois like Behind the Scenes (a good rec if u want something complex relationship stuff). I appreciate both and I know how to recognize how dark, deep, or complex a Yaoi will be based on the art style or cover.

Srry to go off but since you said your tired of it maybe thinking abt this will help you get what you want out of ur reading every time

Got the words out of my mouth! I'm overly tired of people having problem with simple complex always wanting that Mafia assassin ceo zombie bs. This kind of story reflects some aspects in real life and people have been guilty of over complicating simple things because they care! They care so much that simple things become complicated! Not everything is about helicopters, drugs and bullshit. Ugh. But you worded it nicely ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
