I like this and think it’s cute, even tho like some others say it does kinda lack substance and complex characters/plot. I do have some complaints tho..
At this point I really don’t see why she continues to try and end their relationship? It’s clear she really likes him, him and his family are lovely people who really like her, he is very vocal about his feelings for her and the OG FL likes someone else too, he’s obviously not a ‘psychopathic killer’… like why is she still against it?
I also don’t like how her parents, mainly her father, seem to have been whitewashed and forgiven all the sudden. Like she literally said she doesn’t remember her mother every smiling and being happy, her father was loudly misogynistic and shitty, the mom said she was treated like shit, but the dad is suddenly like “bae I actually love you pls forgive me :(“ and all is forgiven and he’s a good dad/husband now?? Like what???
