I agree with the Duke you know. Right now, she is a Duchess. Everything she does is going to reflect on the Duke's family. She has no experience running a business. Now that she has come into money, she is rushing into a business with no plan mind you. Yes, she might be successful due to plot armor but i get why ML gave her a reality check. In every story, Ml's let Fl's do absolute bs cuz they like them and due to plot armor it works out I like that he is not stopping her or stop giving her money , but is telling her to do it by herself.
I think he was a bit sharp with her cuz he figured out she was only doing the business cuz she still doesn't trust him(dont blame her) and was desperate to make money.
