I think it’s showing now corrupt politicians hide behind a mask of helping their community. Instead of doubling down in the public eye he recommended she strung along a story that would cause the less wealthy to hold hope. Being aware of their impact on the votes she could rise to power and be able to hide more things behind a mask of humility for thr poor communities. The more influence she had the more heinous things became behind the scenes as the ml acting as her hunting dog. Idk if this will help at all but that’s how I understood the new season thus far.
Although I don't understand the political stuff it's still peak. If anyone could explain though, I'd be grateful
