because it IS a big issue. no other guides were available to help as most of them were killed or not in a good state (Anna), so Adam was the ONLY guide left that was stable. If he didn't dissolve the print, Adam would possibly feel guilty if more espers die because he didn't guide them due to the print. The reason why Adam was mad is because eve was being possessive of him, due to the fact that Eve doesn't understand human emotions very well,

Imagine you're in a life and death situation and the only person left that's stable enough to help others, but your partner is being possessive and doesn't want you to do it. That's how Adam felt, to which is why he was mad and slapped Eve. Eve doesn't really understand why Adam felt that why, because he doesn't understand human emotions yet.
Im saying adam knews eve is weird and nit like the rest . He knoews that he isnt like the other humans so beibg mad ti that level is nit reasonable . I like the new saison but i have one complain . I feel like the uke raison to disolve the imprint is stupid like in one day u hate him in ine day everything switch . Hell no . It feels forced to be honest and i can see wby cus they need to have an issue to kewp the plot moving toward solving that issue but to me its not that believable
