He grew up seeing his skirt chaser of a father, and his mom who prob did not cope well with that or was caught up with her own love scandal, and from there a distaste for courtship formed alongside with some pretty strong psychopathy/self hatred type of mindset. He can't stand women bc he grew up thinking of them as nothing but sex dolls, and is at the same time so disgusted by his father's actions that he feels yucky predenting to be into the duchess. This is also why he lost his shit when Arsinoe got the ink from his dad, in the first? timeline. Thats why he treated her the way that he did. Not only is she a subject to be tortured, but also a woman, which seems to instantly equal whore in his sick little pebble brain. Basically, homie is a radicalized nazi-esque incel.
I have the feeling that either the story's gonna make him have one hell of a traumatic, deeply abusive childhood so the booktok girlies can add him to their hear me out cakes or it's gonna be a thing where he's just a sad rich boy with the main takeaway being "boohoo, so what if mini rofan hitler can't get a boner". Maybe both, somehow.
I like him in a way that he is warming up to be a worthy, well-written villain, but at the same time I want to see this mf's lycan body put up a fight against the terminal velocity of a swinging wrecking ball and a few hundred bullets.
