Eh so it’s nothing new… just your average imprisonment story.
So I just read the novel last night and here’s the adaptation lol. It’s nothing too out of the ordinary kind of story. Pretty usual trope of the Top finding bottom fun to toy with but then get obsessed. The seme has unusual sexual fetish that he gets aroused by alphas. The top sets his eyes on the bottom and traps him through offering the tuition job for his cousin. (His cousin is involved in the top’s plan). One day the cousin during tutoring release excessive pheromones and the uke escapes the situation with the help of seme. From there the seme sexually assaults the bottom himself then.
The story goes like the seme sexually assaults uke and is physically violent so uke is depressed and wants to escape. He tries to escape but then gets caught and given a scare of forced prostitution (although it is all fake since seme is the only one who comes in the basement and has sex with uke but uke doesn’t get to know this and keeps thinking that many people are raping him until he breaks down in that room. ). The story is very similar to Formless. Where if the uke stays by the seme’s side without escaping then he is pampered. If not then he is punished.
The uke is also similar to Formless uke as in he is a bit simple minded person but also different in sense that his thoughts are extremely depressive. His inner monologues are full of hatred for seme, scared of seme, and just wish for seme to get tired of him. The uke goes through depression to ultimately wanting to live so he tries to mold himself into seme’s expectations so he can live atleast.
Also this started as seme wanted to have a toy to have fun with and uke just meets his expectations of what he wants in his playmate. He even told uke that it is just for a few months but halfway through story he starts talking like he won’t ever let the uke go. Also, he has a fiance arranged by his family but they don’t care about each other. Annnnnd seme has actually done this before too with other but never went as far as he went with uke.
To be honest there’s nothing special or particularly unique about this story.
