Idk where you came from but theres a lot of that already. Example: almost every omegaverse yaoi manga doest have kids. But guess what, it never really was the main point.

Why would they brought that up? That is waste of panelling. Usually just skip to the ending. Idk what beef you have with representation of 'yaoi not having kids while they can' but theres literally a lot and storyboard wise that doesnt make sense.

Yaoi with kids is already few enough, and if you dont want one theres literally THOUSANDS of them. Or better yet; read every yaoi other than this. youve got it

In many non omegaverse yaoi/bl there's always the notion of "are you really okay with now having kids?". I dislike viewing it as an essential part of the course of a relationship. That is all. So I saw ur comment and I relate smm as a person who doesn't like and doesn't want kids and I saw the reply to ur comment and it's literally not true cuz every omegaverse yaoi has a kid at the end, but to answer ur "question" I think it's because many people comment on the official sites or authors twitter or insta that they want them to have a kid only cuz it's cute and they ship the mc and ml, not thinking about this aspect that all road lead to kids but they just gently want to see them so I think even if the author never wanted them to have a kid, they'll add it so it's more "hyped"

No, I didn't mean that bl is a safe haven BECAUSE of the lack of kids. I love straight roms as well, I just like bl more and it's my safe comfort thing. I simply meant that BECAUSE it's a preferred media for me I like it more when it's without kids. that's all. I never implied that gay couples don't have kids so please don't twist my words. I also disagree with the notion that omegaverse is for pregnancy reasons, as the pheromones and need and desire are amplified in omegaverse, similarly to guides and espers stories. Then you need to see it in different light, not all ppl think the same way you do. Even irl many ppl who hated kids & were against having kid so much, the moment they met their destined one & loving them so much, they started thinking of having child of their own.

Well one of mechanical reason omegaverse in BL existed was for defying the rl biological impossibility & facilitating reproduction between same primary sex.... while I'm agree it's also to amplify the emotional & physical intimacy, turning it to be more primal & instinct-driven.

Also I've read BL for like 13 years, and most of works within this genre didn't have kids nor ever implied they wanted to have kids despite it being possible, just wanting to be the two of them for the rest of their life. Idk I got the impression you just find it disappointing to see this Paws & Claws BL with both leads being likeable & cutesy lovey dovey then turned out didn't cater to your preference of not having kids, you can just always read other titles tho....
