I feel like Koreans don't know how to write good stories when it comes to gay romance and relationships. I feel like they see relationships between two men like this : man = violence, so two men = rape, assault, no communication... :')
It would have been so much better if, just before the assault, Taeui had grabbed him and told him he was on his way to see him. That would have left Ilay completely flustered, and they could have talked and cuddled. Ilay would then have realised he was in love with him... etc. I would have loved to see that. I'm feeling conflicted about this scene because I love the characters :(
