nitpicking (as someone with did)

i'm a little confused as to if this is a translation error or not but as someone with DID:
i feel the aspect of them being a system is very.. i don't know how to word it. 2 "personalities" here is a common trope that is seen with ppl who dont wanna write characters actually being systems. which btw, i have no issue with, ive met other systems with only a couple alters who have OSDD (otherwise specified dissociative disorder) and DID- they exist, but since i've been seeing more and more bls try this i think its a huge missed opportunity for hosu to only have 2 active alters. it's actually more likely/is listed in DSM-5 criteria for someone/a system diagnosed with DID to have more than two alters (see mutsumi wakaba from AveMujica / bandori who is a poly-fragmented system). who knows tho maybe we'll see hosu split more, with how crazy the other hosu is im surprised they only have 2 alters and not like. 10. need that to be me fr

i'll say what i do like though: since hosu has gone through active treatment they are more aware of each other, DID creates dissociative walls in the brain, which is why systems/people with DID have alters so distinct. they are functionally separate people, but with treatment these walls can be alleviated for better communication and for them to live less chaotic lives. passive influence is also a thing with systems, we might dislike each other but if we share a common ground (childhood) many of us can have shared interests, even food. i really like that you can see one hosu does like moran, the other does too but is much more cautious about these feelings. i like that moran still loves them both but misses the other hosu, so real lmao
moran is such a green flag i really enjoy how this is written and how proactive he is
