are you okay? the male lead was abusive and wouldn't let him pursue his education or even go outside. mc is that kind of character who works hard for what they got so why would he go and live a life of ''luxury" (quotations because it was horrible) with a ml who doesn't care about him and just sees him as an object to possess?
the mc is good and all but his too prideful for his own sake. like why can't he just savor for all the help the mc has given him and live the moment or something after living a life of hell and despair after all the shit his been through. also, his kinda bit slow and stupid when it comes to making life changing decisions. Like why cant he be smart about his situation and like idk make the ml fall for him and gain his trust or something and when he gains his trust, try to reason with the ml then about his boundaries and such...instead, the mf mc decided leaving the already comfortable life he has was the ultimate best decision and then go back to being a poor-homeless-and-broke individual
