just re-read the latest chapter, now that the shock has diminished, it's insane how obsessed ilay is. his soft smiles, his caresses, the way nothing could've pulled him out and off of taeui. i would be caught up in his act too. someone who can kill absolutely anyone with no remorse, but can't bring himself to truly hurt you (by ilay's standard) and tells you exactly what to say and do so that he can forgive you. because this is the only thing ilay wants. to forgive taeui. so he can still have him by his side.
