I haven't caught up recently and am confused what the uncle wants to do or what's going on...

The uncle wants to get rid of Jingi because he knows that he is at risk as long as Jingi is alive, he probablly knows also that Jingi has evidence of the abuse that not only he suffered but the other kids too.
