the thing is why are people even focusing on that when they are in high school. the comments got very weird fast. i know people are smut/porn brained but omg.
also, people saying eugene needs to be put in his place by bottoming is crazy and homophobic in itself. completely missing the point of the story of a character dealing with internalize homophobia goodness gracious.
how come literally any time a bl is even slightly unconventional or subversive with its top and bottom, and not at all even in a way that the positions should come unexpectedly to anyone, there's always so many people complaining and wanting or expecting it different?? go read virtually anything else and let the few things with less common dynamics exist in peace oh my god
and have the people who somehow don't think eugene is the top and morgan the bottom been literally reading with their eyes closed what?? or so much as read the description?? i genuinely don't know how you could convey the intended dynamic more clearly without the characters straight-up just having sex lmao (which i also really wouldn't recommend expecting not to happen)
