My twisted theory is that author is f*cked up in the head or misunderstood their target, thinking they're gifting readers by making 2 chapters of SA/smut before going on hiatus. Y'know the marketing logic that gives birth to these kind of stories: please those that get turn on by this stuff.... Which is ironic giving most readers in this page are interested if the MC gets away or ml's redemption .... I haven't seen a single comment praising the smut so far.
Oomf not saying it's something to praise ofc. My point is no one needed another sa scenes... Goodness it reminds me of My Suha. Smut after another stalling the story from making any progress for months!
I think they missed their target. I am gonna say my next words in regards of trying to think best of the author. I think they were trying to make something with SA that was not romanticized to stand out from the SA fetish in the community. Unfortunately, I think they might have forgotten that SA is traumatic/uncomfortable to hear/be reminded of. Most people read manhua to enjoy it/forget about reality, but putting so much SA only makes people uncomfortable, which ruins the manhwa. (Also, drives people away if it isn't watered down.) I think they are forgetting that some people get off to rape and they shouldn't showthe full thing since it isn't dragging in good ppl/isn't necessary. It could be just implied that he was instead of showit, especially with people who find it triggering. Though I could be fucking wrong and they just have a fetish.
I came back because I was bored and wanted to read three chapters, like I always do and it's still ass. Genuinely, I don't know what the author is planning to do, but hopefully the MC will get away from this guy. (sorry I forgot his name because I dropped this.) Even though it doesn't romanticize and glorify rape/SA, it's slightly unnecessary in my opinion. Some of these SA scenes are unnecessary to showmore than twice. Yes, I understand it might impact the story, but it isn't really doing anything but numbing the reader/making them disturb. Also, this is just seeming like a fetish since the author is showing the full scenes, but I have no right to say that so I'll leave it alone. If you do not have thick skin or are able to endure it, don't even fucking look at it. I regret that I read this since it's slightly traumatizing.
