Imp scene cut

I wonder why they cut the scene from the novel when they were in bed together and the ML said he hopes he won't hear news of FL's death when he is away at war. Cuz that is how he heard news of his previous 3 empresses death.
That scene is super important to showcase the ML'S personality.
They showin the manhwa how he never loved or cared about the previous empresses. It is true he never loved them or touched them, but he was not as cruel as showed.
In the novel , he never said it out loud but he mourned the death of every single previous empress. Not because he loved them, but because they had to die just because they were tied to him.
The first 2 he agreed to get married to the women arranged by his mother. They were sent by his evil Dowager mother, to stay by ml's side but not support him but to spy on him. Even that couldn't save them from the other nobles killing them cuz of the Empress position.
So the 3rd time, he married a woman who did not belong to any faction and was not from a strong noble family to avoid provoking her death, but she was killed again even faster than before.
All this explains why male lead treated the Fl like that in the very first chapters. It appears a bit cold but he was warning her of the danger she might be in when he has to leave the palace.
My heart broke when he said he mourned the death of all his previous wives, even the ones sent to kill him. He is a very good person and this is reason the FL fell for him very quickly. She noticed his real intentions and fell in love with him.
I am so glad he finally got a wife who is not only from a powerful family people cant look down on, but also is physically strong enough to hold her own.
