This was a pretty good read! I love ML’s tendency to carry FL. His obsession kind of mellowed out as the story went on, which kind of sucks, but they were cute together. FL is the damsel in distress sometimes, he’s the damsel in distress sometimes. Our FL was pretty capable too, although the ending scene with her sword fighting was kind of abrupt. The only thing I will say is there was not enough hatred towards the empire and its citizens for the massacre of the Jewelry. Also, the crown prince could’ve been a good ruler if he had FL’s influence as his project goes, which is a bit sad or unfortunate.
