I won't agree on someone that said this was lowkey gay (I got gay baited), Koko and X was clearly shown and said to be in love in the chapters near the end. But, I do agree that was some soulmate thing going on between Luan and X.
THE FINAL CHAPTERS MADE ME BAWL MY EYES OUT. I love how this necromancy power trope got expanded into something deep and meaningful lesson about life and death. Ah, to have someone give unconditional sacrifice for you, definitely is something romantic. I'm grateful this had a happy ending, or I would've been sulking for weeks, it was that good of a read.
