The way Heejae has rooted himself so deeply, so irreversibly in Garam's body. That after all those years of waiting, he would still find himself alone, with no one ever coming back for him? So now it's time to clean up the apartment, walk away and never look back, isn't it?

But. If there even is a "but" in all of this. Could he have kept following social media, hoping to catch a glimpse of one of Garam's performances so he could return to Korea? Or did he decide that Garam had betrayed music, and him along with it? Or was it a choice made out of respect for Garam's decision? Or did Heeje decide to change?

Will we ever get to see Heeje without a weapon? And did he play Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto after they parted ways? Rachmaninoff himself once said of Horowitz's performance:
"That's how I have always dreamed my concerto would be played, but I never hoped to hear anything like it on Earth."

Words may mean nothing to Heeje, but music does. Could he really have made it through those four years without losing anything?
