Now time for my review. I had this book in my tbr for 4yrs now but I just decided to give it a read this yr. And I don't regret it . It was fun and worth every minute. I am even wondering why I didn't read it for so long .

Now time for review on the novel.
I liked the fact that the father owned up and acknowledged his mistake.
For Derrick, I feel he still carried much guilt about him being the cause of losing his sister after the father warned them not to go.
For reylond, well of course he hated pen but he was a small kid . And I love the way he is very smart and observant. I liked their bickering btw pen and rey.
For eckles- hmmmmm rip and I feel he is a manipulator and he knew what he was getting into and he tried to pin the blame on pen. Wtf
