Authors don’t seem to understand that while possessiveness is hot, the “I’m going to chain you up and fuck you til you die” trope is just awful. It’s one thing to be jealous and possessive of your partner, and to want to keep them in your line of sight at all times when they ran so far away from you, but Hunter needs to take a page out of our lovely Jake Gillan’s book because that dude knew how to do it right.
