this was so good! it's especially heartwarming to me that as cheongyeon and suhan grew closer and became more vulnerable with each other, we got to see how much they're still just kids, crying and confused about life and love. these were kids who grew up too soon! they were both forced to act strong from such a young age because of their childhood circumstances, and i just love how by the end, when they're surrounded by warmth, love, and supportive adults, they're finally able to just be kids in love. the side couple was also quite entertaining lmao i love their little friend group.

i read 'problematic student patrol' a few months ago and it quickly became a favorite of mine. 'SOS! fledgling report' had similar plot points and vibes, but it was lighter, with less violence and emotional heaviness. that doesn't make it any less enjoyable though!! the main characters are equally as precious. and while the manipulation and abuse from haseong in PSP felt irredeemable (justice was served!), here in SOSFR we have gilhan, who actually tried to turn his life around. tbh it did irk me a little that he was still getting screentime in the side stories, but after the flowerpot fell on him, my feelings shifted a little and i thought, ok sure he deserves to meet his match lol

overall, i enjoyed SOSFR and loved seeing the characters grow into themselves. cuteness all around ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ ₊˚⊹♡
