Mc (kile) is the biggest bird. I'm only on chapter 53 but I still don't understand why he was on his knees since day 1 for Lou, he knew Lou only saw him as a substitute and that Lou had been fake towards him, but mc still easily giving in so fast, I know he likes his face and Lou is pretty but that can't be enough?.. Also after learning about Ray, ray seems like the real mc. He's doing everything to survive for his brother Kile, he's enduring Abuse since he was a kid and SA from from that slimey blackhaired snake just for his brother!!! Ray wants a better life for them and to live together and even after learning all this, MC is still mainly thinking only about Lou and blushing non stop oh brother. Not sure if I can keep going with this story. After seeing the past and how Lou looked at and felt towards Ray, it seems like his relationship with Ray was one sided but complex and deep, even without any sexual moments. and then you have Lou and MC ugh and though it's implied they did it so many times, it still feels so hallow and forced upon readers idk.
In one aspect I do feel bad for Kile, everything’s like whiplash and he’s getting esper awakening and everyone’s hiding things from him. The part where he said he’s tired of everyone’s first reaction towards him is hate, and I felt for him because wtf everyone is so aggressive when they meet him. This is why I thought as mc, Kile would have somewhat of a backbone or develop but it’s been 52 chapters and not a development in sight. He knows he’s dependent on Lou for stabilizing, he knows Lou put him in danger in the past for the sake of keeping ray safe, etc but Kile is still heart eyes smooching Lou, meanwhile ray is still missing. Idk it’s just giving bird to me.
For me it feels like there author did a poor attempt at the world building, I kept asking why is the beauru doing this or is Lou doing something similar to guiding but hes an ester etc. The brother missing reminded me of another esper BL where something similar happened, but for that BL it was heartbreaking and a better twist than this one, where we knew from the start Lou only cared about finding Ray as priority vs Mc
