If only the uke might want to take my suggestion, since the ml needs his rainwater why dont mc just blackmail him with suicide, or attempts it might move his conscience a bit or give him anxiety atleast... just traumatized ml, like jumping off the 22nd floor but you have a rope in your body or like soaking in blood, hang yourself and anything that would make that son of bitvh see how important mc is.. though mc might suffer but its gonna be traumatizing for ml atleast
