Thank you I thought there was something strange with those lines!!i was like 'wish it left a scar on HER?' ' i knew SHE had no right to feel hurt??', because it was pronouns that threw me off I thought it was AI or smth since AI translations always has incorrect pronouns for some reason but knowing it might have been done out of bias is almost worse :(
this is why i said nyx scans’ translations will always suck. cuz their mistranslation has ppl misunderstanding eunhyeok’s monologue in ch 147 if you guys didn’t know, nyx scans is known for being biased, mistranslating, and causing misinformation to be spread. and even after being called out by ppl, they never fix their translations.
girl anyways, here’s eunhyeok’s monologue in ch 147:
“i was relieved that i appeared to be doing okay. but at the same time, part of me also wished there was something visibly broken about me. i couldn’t help laughing bitterly at myself for even thinking that.

i understand that there’s some nuances that are hard to translate. but seriously, nyx, mistranslating to the extent that y’all can’t even tell he’s talking abt himself, and not abt him wishing suae “had at least one visible scar” or whatever tf. and he’d NEVER say “another day i’d miss you, and the next, I’D HATE YOU.” ?? HATE YOU??? nyx scans, are y’all good?? he’d NEVER say such hurtful things like that abt suae oml. it doesn’t even make sense context wise either
ch 147 is actually extremely important in understanding both suae and eunhyeok’s thoughts. so nyx dropping the ball to this extent is just messed up tbh. SO PLEASE READ ON RINKO COMICS! they have good translations for not just otl, but other manhwas too!!
