yes!! def appreciated seeing that, i feel like some authors smooth out the flaws of characters too much once its time for them to be in a romance. glad they made him apologize and showed the mom perhaps breaking free from those internalized insecurities (though I wish he just cut her off because she was definitely abusive)
The side couple b*tt*m is a trash.. but then redeemed himself. Just because you have trauma doesn't justify you to be trash to other people. But i understand that the environment we grew up in, is what shapes up to who we are at the present.
The good thing about him was he realized that what's he is used to(abo complex) is not a good outlook in life. He faced his past, realized it, managed to get recognition as well then sincerely apologized to the mc. He's so brave. He's like changed himself for the better and is now happy.
