They still wouldn't be recognized as a married couple in Korea, afaik. At least doing this will have them registered as family, allowing them to have a say and decide for each other in a legal capacity in case the person is unconscious or otherwise unable to.
They still wouldn’t be recognised as a family in korea then, also just because they’re adopted in name doesn’t mean its incest Unemployment
I know but maybe it's because our cultures are different but it doesn't just sit right with me. But it's sad that even if they're married they won't be recognized as one :((

How sad that this is the only way they can become a family :'( I know it's common for homosexual couples in countries like korea and japan to do this to be legally recognized as a family but it's sad :(
I think to get married in another country one has to have citizenship or smth can’y just marry and come back Alexandra
We technically ho has usa citizenship, i think, since he lived there for so long. But I guess as our friends here said, korea doesn't recognize same sex marriage certificate anyway:(((
I always had conflicted emotions about this whole adoption thing, couldn't they just go to another country and get married?
