I totally agree. To put it simply, intercourse in the story’s universe is sort of a medicine, that if you don’t take would result to death. I’m sad that it wasn’t opened up much but I also get it ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

i sympathize with everyone ranting abt the rape part but you have to put into perspective. this universe treats intercourse not as a means for pleasure but for survival measures, in fact, it was mentioned several times. so i kinda get why it was glossed over. its not that the different from the first time it happened bet the ml and mc, and def not different the 2nd time around. aside from the last sex scene, none of the first 3 intercouse was consensual.
its not normalizing nor glossing over. its just the world building.
