since they cant legally get married as a gay couple in korea, adopting him as his son is their only way to be a “legal” family

yep I believe so since same-sex marriage isnt legalized there and they wanted to still be legally responsible for each other
yes, that's what gay couples do especially if same-sex marriage is not legal,,, they don't have other choice but to adopt eachother as siblings or son to be a family... that's what i know
