i think it was chap 20 or 21 but when the mum said that gitae will be back where he belongs. i thought that she implicated that he was a returning back to them, initially i assumed that jihun was a runaway or was discarded then later on got attention from his psycho parents after they realised his worth. but now we got to see the flashback where she came to the orphanage with the intention of ensuring jihun is dead changes on how i view it now. now both jihun and gitae are targets of the psychos as well as jihun about to go berserk.
some possible scenarios im thinking bc i like to overthink to prepare the worse case scenario: 1. they both die at the hands of the psychos 2. jihun goes berserk and kills gitae, aftermath jihun either kills himself or will continue to live (mostly bc gitae wished him to stay alive) 3. gitae kills jihun but jihun transforms back and relays his final words and gitae goes of to Antarctica to fulfill their wish 4. psychos kill one of them and they witness (got kidnapped and one of them was a moment too late and witness them getting killed, or they both get kidnap one is forced to sit while the other is getting tortured) 5. jihun goes berserk, gitae realises he cant do anything he seeks help to get a guide, (if apply normal guideverse knowledge), gitae has to watch jihun get intimate with the guide he knows its to help jihun but still doesnt erase the fact it hurt, gitae goes through tunnel vision whether they give up hunting and just go to the arctic, or give up and convince jihun to get a guide for his own safety, or he runs away after not being able to reach a conclusion 6. jihun betrays gitae after being swayed by the psychos and goes back to them (could either be frl or jihun gets blackmailed like we wont kill gitae if u join type shi)
thats what i can think so far.. however im sure the author will exceed my expectations and do something far worse ╥﹏╥
