THE FIRST CHAPTERS LOL it looked so funny Though I get why the mothers in the park were hesitant (and this being just a comic) but still...rude. In my childhood neighborhood was an elderly couple with a mentally disabled adult son, they would bring him to the park to play, he wasn't allow to play with the kids but he would run around with his toys. It may had been intimidating but it's rude to keep staring, other parent would just leave them do their thing and everyone was used to it (and even when you just met them, it's kind of obvious that he wasn't a "normal" adult man(you know what I mean)
