i thought i figured it out (“you have to live” was sigra speaking, and “sigra!” was ame’s seperate dialogue) but then who is yelling “raise your sword, ame”? eve??????

In ch 164 it was Ame who sacrificed himself. Sigra lived but he killed himself shortly. He called out Ame and Reevo's name and he asked for their forgiveness because he's about to take his own life

In 165 we finally know the name ame didnt want to forget "..." sigra

so in the first timeline ame sacrificed himself and in the new timeline sigra sacrificed himself/got replaced?
i'd say a previous timeline not the first. i think that this world has been repeating over and over
i don't think sigra sacrificed himself in gozu's timeline. scenes of sigra with ame was just a memory flashback of the game by Gozu.

i’m really confused, if sigra is the one who sacrificed himself so ame could live, then wouldn’t the dialogue be “you have to live, ame” not “you have to live, sigra”? or are we just supposed to roll with the nonsensical namedrop? also, who tf is the praying guy in ch 158?
