Honestly at this point, the Castline family except for bibi is completely untrustworthy. She already told the heir that she has no desire to use saving Bibi as an excuse to gain their support in the long term. She even made it clear, that their debt to her would be clear after helping twice, so WHY THE FUCK are they sending her people who lie straight to her face like that consort use to? I get they can't trust her, but if they are indebted to her they should at least honor their agreement wholeheartedly and not just the letter of their agreement. If they don't do that then any reasons like that they have circumstances of their own, look more like crutch that they use to justify every shitty thing they do to others. Even, if they are protecting the empire, how she ever trust them? I think I am gonna be disgusted when I see the second son trying to romance the mc.
