The whole problem of the MC friend is that ok you SEE a victim. And you just sit there and cry? Like I'm sure he had a mental dialogue on why he didn't or smth (in context to earlier chapters when the photos first were shown to him) but either way you are just as a problem when you are a bystander (and a bit of a spoiler he becomes more a problem laterr). Also to get this off my chest- this whole idea of "what happens when revenge crosses the line between vengeance and becoming the perpetrator" is cool ASF. If only it wasn't so graphic and actually makes it more psychological and thriller like... I'd be happy to read it. And yes ik it's a visual adaptation of the novel- and it's GOING TO showTHE HORRID SCENES!!! Butttt it be better if the story lends into the mental and emotional(?) aspect. Like the scenes where the MC is slowly falling into depression/ is depressed. Like THOSE ARE AMAZINGLY PORTRAYED!!! Or where the ML is fighting his voices on whether to stop or constantly act on his revenge to fulfill his promise on vengeance. Like those scenes makes it interesting!!! But then the constant visual rape scenes takes it back and sets it to where its more of a rape plot with a side of substance yk? Honestly looking at the artist formal works.... I'm not surprised just a bit disappointed.
